Today's Scripture Reading is from Psalm 139:17-18 (NLT): "How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!"
Have you ever considered what God thinks about? Do you want to know what is on His mind? The Bible tells us that God is always thinking about us and His thoughts about us are precious and beautiful. He thinks of us constantly. It is comforting to know that we were created by a God who always has us on His mind.
Many people today think that God is a big mean Judge in the sky who seeks to zap us at every mistake, every failure, and every sin. But God does not sit in Heaven with an iron fist waiting for us to mess up. He loves us and everything He does for us, to us, and around us is for our good because His mind is always on us. He does not dwell on our failures and mistakes. He does not reminds us constantly of our shortcomings and how imperfect we are. Instead, He thinks of us with goodness and grace. He thinks of how to bless us, how to draw us close to Him, and how to make us more like Him in every way possible.
